Traffic jam means a long line of vehicles that can not move or that can move very slowly. Traffic jam is a common affair in the big cities of our country. There are many causes of traffic jam. This problem is the result of rapid growth of population and the increasing number of vehicles. The reckless plying of rickshaw is the main reason of traffic jam. Violation of traffic rules is also responsible for traffic jam. Overtaking of one vehicle by another is another cause of traffic jam. Traffic jam causes untold sufferings to people. Sometimes it raises our mental tension. It causes loss of our valuable time. We have to wait to reach our destination. It is boring Traffic jam can be removed by enforcing traffic rules strictly. The narrow roads should be broadened. Construction of by pass road, one way movement of vehicles and fly over can solve this problem. And we can reduce traffic jam by raising public awareness.
