A Journey By Boat

A journey by boat is full of charms and joys. It is also a part and parcel of education. So, I undertook a journey by boat along with my friends.

To make the journey joyful, we took a tape-recorder and a camera. We also took some snacks. The journey was from Atrai to Singra.

On the fixed date, we hired a “Dingi” boat. There were two boatmen on it. We started  our journey at the afternoon.

The weather was very swiftly. After sometime the evening was drawing near.

I enjoyed the beauty of nature all around. The full moon was up in the east. The breeze was blowing. The soft moonlight converted the world into a wonderful dream-land. I felt a heavenly bliss. I caught some charming scenery with my camera.

One of my friends began to dance with the music of the tape-recorder on the stern. It gave us much pleasure. The wind was in our favor. The boatmen set sail. Then it was moving in full speed. So, we reached our destination after a while.

While we were passing by a big market, the boat casted anchor. Then we landed. We went to the market and purchased a fine big Hilsha fish and vegetables.

A delicious dish was cooked with the Hilsha fish. We took our meal in the boat. We had a hearty meal.

A journey by boat is really pleasant and refreshing in a fair weather. It gives a golden opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature. It broadens our outlook. It may be dangerous in a bad weather.

A Journey By Bus
