Street Hawker

A street hawker is a small businessman who sells various things moving from street to street. He is a vendor. He sells various cheap and fancy things and moves from door to door. He carries his things sometimes on his head, sometimes on his hands and sometimes in a hand-cart. So he is a moving shop. We find a street hawker on the street and near the door of our houses. He sells those things which attract the children and women. He sells toys, clothing, sweets, fruits, utensils, cosmetics, ice-cream, and many other things of daily use. He tries to attract the attention of his customers in many ways. He often sings in the name of his goods. He puts on strange dress and cries in a peculiar way. He generally comes out in the street at noon and in the evening. He makes a good profit by selling his good. His economic condition is not good. He works hard but he lives from hand to mouth.
